The consultant at Access Psychology is Ed Zahra (HIC Provider Number: 2569151H). He is married and has two adult sons. He commenced practice in clinical psychology in 1985 and has developed it into this Specialist Practice in Clinical Psychology.
Apart from completing double Masters-level (six-year) qualifications in both Clinical Psychology and Educational Psychology, Ed Zahra has also gained a Diploma in Clinical Hypnotherapy and a Commerce degree majoring in both Economics and Psychology.
Ed has succeeded in a broad range of high-level appointments. Apart from consulting in his private practice, Ed has worked in Community Mental Health, the Army Reserve, Mental Health Services to the Elderly, University Lecturing, Employee Assistance Scheme consulting, and executive committee positions in Professional Associations.
Ed's treatment style is to find out what you need to know in order to overcome your particular problem(s), and then he takes quite a directive approach to teach you what you need for your self-management. He is precise and methodical and presents information in a clear and well-organised way. Ed has developed a unique system for providing psychological services that offers what he considers to be a higher than usual level of service resulting in a more personal, more productive, and more valuable experience for you.
